POWERHOUSE FEMALE DANCE/POP DUO STASH DEBUTS ON BILLBOARD’S DANCE CLUB SONGS CHART WITH REMIX OF THEIR HOLLYWOOD MUSIC IN MEDIA AWARD WINNER ‘STRIP ME BARE’
LOS ANGELES – OMG – We were sooooooo stoked to learn that we – STASH– made our debut on the Billboard Dance Club Songs Chart debut for the week of June 6, 2015 with the remix of our title track from our debut EP Strip Me Bare by British-born wunderkind Cutmore.
“> “Strip Me Bare” debuted at #49 and we are still pinching ourselves that we are sharing chart space with the latest hits from some of the pop and dance worlds’ biggest superstars, including Madonna, Chic featuring Nile Rodgers, Rihanna, Ricky Martin featuring Pitbull, Nick Jonas, Erasure, David Guetta featuring Nicki Minaj, Bebe Rexha and Afrojack, Calvin Harris featuring HAIM, Carly Rae Jepson, Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears and Iggy Azelea, Jason Derulo and Jeremih featuring Flo Rida.
“>We were hoping the track – would make a move to the main chart when it jumped onto the breakout chart the prior week..
“>”We were really happy when Cutmore wanted to work with us — as we could identify with the sound and style he is famous for — for many of today’s pop superstars (including Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna and Clarkson) and he has five U.S. #1 Billboard Club Chart singles,” says Steph.
“> We thought when “Strip Me Bare” garnered STASH our first Hollywood Music In Media Award (HMMA) in November 2014 for Best EDM/Electronic Dance Music song that we were on to something,” adds Amanda. And now this!
AND for all you party people and summer BBQs, lake trips, weekends, we also recently unleashed our new video for our other Hollywood Music in Media Award (HMMA) nominated party manifesto “Red Cup! Pinky Up.” Tell us what you think! The “Red Cup!” track recently hit #24 on the Top POP chart of Beatport. Thank you for that – fans!!!
“>Love all of you guys! Thanks for keeping up with us!
